Bay Street Hosting Hamptons Mardi Gras Dance Party

Bay Street Theatre is channeling the spirit of the south for a Hamptons Mardi Gras Dance Party on Saturday, March 8, at 8 pm.

The celebration will feature authentic Big Easy style music from the Hoodoo Loungers. The nine piece band will showcase a dynamic variety of artists and genres like the R&B of Dr. John and Professor Longhair, funk from the Neville Brothers and the Meters, and the traditional Dixieland and Jazz of Louis Armstrong and Louis Prima.

Hamptons regulars, Joe Delia & Thieves, will add a bit of blues to the festitivy. The band's setlist will fuse Delia's East End inspired songs like "Under the Montauk Moon" with fun N'Orleans-flavored numbers including "What Took You So Long."

Tickets are $25 in advance and $35 the day of.
