In an unexpected retreat that makes a person wonder if they stepped into a storybook rather than a Hamptons horticultural conservancy, the Madoo Conservancy is a otherworldly retreat from the typical scenery of the Hamptons.

The third annual Much Ado About Madoo Cocktail party celebrating 20 Years as a Public Garden, the Madoo Conservancy came alive on Saturday, June 14, 2013. Guests had the treat to strolling through the tree covered gardens while enjoying Swedish-inspired hors d'oeuvres from Chef Gërgen Tidén, and sipping on their pick of cocktails from Hendrick's Gin or wine from Wolffer Estate Vineyard.

In keeping with the garden theme and aiming to please garden enthusiasts, various garden market vendors were set up to display unusual plants, unique garden embellishments, accessories and tools.

For people wanting to create a striking garden, Pennoyer Newman was on hand with their pots and other garden accessories to consider. Different decorative pots and stone ornaments littered their booth as wonderful examples.

Fermob Outdoor Furniture, adorned with Karen Robertson's Shellatier collection of seashell flowers. The furniture, coming in an array of colors and styles, is sold by Sea Green Designs.

Zoe Hoare of Chezzoe.bet and her collection of English antique styled garden furnishings were available.

Hunter boots was also a vendor, reminding guest that they can always garden in style.

The honorary hosts for the 225 guest of the evening were Joey Wolffer and her husband Max Rohn.

100 percent of auction results went towards supporting the Madoo Conservancy. The live and silent auctions netted approximately $20,000. In addition to booth fees, the vendors at the market donated 10 percent of their sales to The Madoo Conservancy.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didn’t change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
