Bay Street Brings Back Pride Dance Parties

Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, is hosting three Hamptons Pride Dance Parties on Saturday, June 22nd, Saturday, July 27th and Saturday, August 31st. Anyone over 21 is invited to attend, particularly members of the LGBT community.

"There is no place to dance right now," said Tim Kofahl, the director of marketing and public relations. "This is open to everyone but we're trying to say thank you to the LGBT community for their support of Bay Street."

Bay Street starting hosing pride dance parties last year after the staff heard one too many people complain about the lack of dance locales. The dance parties are not related to the Long Island Pride Parade in Huntington or any other pride events throughout the country.

Erik Batt, Randy Hemming, Bruce T. Sloane, Joe Maio (from Adornments in Sag Harbor) and Eric Lemonides (from Almond Restaurant) will be hosting the parties. DJ Karin Ward will be providing the music.

The night will include raffles- one of which includes a getaway at The Pineapple Point Guesthouse and Resort in Florida. Admission is $25 in advance and $35 the day of and the parties begin at 10:30 p.m.
