There are great events and then there are cool events, the ones that you talk about for years just to make people jealous. JFI Jets holds the bragging rights as the summer begins after they threw a unique party to support the Children's Medical Fund Center for Special Care with Frank Sinatra's private jet as the centerpiece. Sure there were other planes in the hangar at Republic Airport in Farmingdale but the star, as far as JFI Jet's partner Arik Kislin was concerned, was the Chairman of the Board's. Elegantly attired guests including Henry Buhl, Michael Todd, John Lehmann, Christine Schott, and Barbara Duffy arrived in luxurious Rolls Royce, Bentley, and Mercedes sedans passed the live band and drink in hand posed for photos in and around the sleek aircraft like excited children at a party. No sooner had the photo snapped they were quickly sent out to Facebook and Twitter with a gentle teasing to friends to the tune of, "I'm on Sinatra's jet and you're not. Be jealous!"

The upbeat spirit of the evening was a reflection of the very generous benefactor, Joel Pashcow who donated $50,000 toward the cause prior to the event and then gave another $10,000 for a private dinner at his Southampton home with celebrity chef Scott Conant during the live auction. Amidst four jets the bar was heavy under offerings from Star Vodka and Jack Daniels and a variety of casino games that provided for much entertainment. Channeling Frank, "America's Got Talent" finalist Paul Salos performed classics like "Fly Me To The Moon". Across the hangar Chef Conant, of Scarpetta restaurant in NYC, held court dishing as much as his contract would allow about this season of "Chopped" where he sits as a judge. Needless to say there are quite a few surprises on the way and you may even see the tables turn on a few judges who go from judge to contestant.

As sunset colored the sky in fiery shades of crimson guests returned to their luxurious fleet with a JFI Jets bag and one lucky guest, Jacob the Jeweler, was spotted cradling a bottle of Star Vodka signed by the brands CEO Charles Ferri.
