One of the charities, which benefits from Dream Extreme is STEPS to End Family Violence. Ten years ago Argila was separated from her daughter, which is why raising awareness for foster children is so important to her. STEPS focuses on educating families and communities about violence prevention, promoting healing among victims, and advocating toward an enhanced community understanding domestic violence. Argila is very involved in the lives of many of the children and families she helps through STEPS.
The other charity which benefits from Dream Extreme is Concern, Haiti. Argila just got back from Haiti and the devastation inspired her to want to get involved and help. Concern's mission is to help people living in extreme poverty achieve major improvements in their lives.
