Bridgehampton - The final match of the Mercedes-Benz Polo Challenge at Blue Star Jets Field (Two Trees Farm) in Bridgehampton drew a large crowd for closing day.

This year's event was sponsored by Hamptons Magazine and media mogul Jason Binn, and many celebrity guests were on hand to say goodbye to another season of wonderful sport and fun, including NBA superstar and Miami Heat shooting guard Dwyane Wade who hosted the season's final match. Other guests spotted enjoying the match between Black Watch and Citi included actress Gabrielle Union, Jeff Gordon (four-time NASCAR Sprint Cup Champion), Wilmer Valderrama ("That 70's Show"), Beth Ostrosky-Stern, NBA star Richard Jefferson (San Antonio Spurs), Alex McCord and Simon Van Kempen ("Real Housewives of New York City"), Stella Keitel, T.V. personality Dr. Ruth Westheimer, Paul Wharton ("Real Housewives of D.C.") and Dan Lembo (Survivor: Nicaragua) who were all spotted dancing to music spun by celebrity DJ Solange Knowles at the SWAGG Mobile Application lounge.

Among all the A-listers were those who watched and enjoyed the fierce match featuring both Nachos Figueras (Black Watch) and Nic Roldan (Certified).

The last match included Team Black Watch and Team Certified. (Joe Strand)

It was a whirlwind six weeks of intense play on the field, and intense people watching in the tents. This annual event is a Hamptons favorite and draws both those who love and appreciate the sport and the skill of the riders and horses, as well as those who appreciate being seen making the scene. It's a win-win event for everyone involved, and enjoyed by all.

Many players will continue their season long after the tents have folded in Bridgehampton, and for those who enjoy this Sport of Kings - you'll just have to wait until next year. . .

Most two-footed attendees put their best face forward during the six week event. (Joe Strand)
