New York City - Thousands of items for the home, one-of-a-kind special gifts and holiday wreaths created by leading designers were featured at the Lighthouse International's Posh Holiday Preview Sale and Cocktails held on Thursday, December 8, at The
Plaza Hotel in New York City. All proceeds benefit Lighthouse International, a leading nonprofit organization fighting vision loss though prevention, treatment and empowerment.
"Did you know that one in every two New Yorkers will be affected by vision issues? For me this is a personal story because my dear mother at the end of her life was nearly blind," said
Joan Rivers. "That's why for years Melissa and I have been involved in helping raise money for programs to promote healthy eyesight. Now you can help too, so join us and help raise money for Lighthouse International while decking your halls with boughs of holly."
