New York City - The world premiere of renowned choreographer Ronald K. Brown's "On Earth Together" inspired by the music of Stevie Wonder at the Joyce Theater was met with thunderous applause and a standing ovation for the electrifying performance of Brown's acclaimed troupe.

Following the final curtain call, VIP supporters headed over to Chelsea hot spot Elmo's for a reception hosted by Reginald Van Lee, Chairman Emeritus of Evidence, for the Sponsors of the upcoming "A Breath of Spring Gala."

Among the fashionable crowd were Janice Combs who will receive the Company's 2011 Inspiration Award at the gala, "Law & Order SVU" star Tamara Tunie and her husband jazz vocalist Gregory Generet who will host the gala; newly elected Board Chairman Zaid Abdul-Aleem and Vice Chairman Joanne Hill, Joyce Mullins Jackson, Andrea Hoffman, Gail Monroe Perry, Dr. Ancy Verdier, Susan Taylor and Khephra Burns, Bruce Michael, Lola West, Lana Turner, Clif De Raita, Peg Alston and Willis Burton, singer Dorothy Bishop, Colin Lively, Princess Keisha Omilana and Prince Kunle Omilana, Jocelyn Brown and Ballet Hispanico Artistic Director Eduardo Vilaro. Brown will create a new work for the Ballet Hispanico Company this spring titled "Espiritu Vivo."

Seventh Annual Evidence…A Breath of Spring Gala, April 12 in the Grand Ballroom, Manhattan Center will feature the Company performing "On Earth Together", cocktails, luxury auction, dinner and dancing. Honorary Chair is Pamela Joyner, Dinner Chair is Reginald Van Lee.
