The 80's are back and better than ever.
Jonathan Cheban, uber-publicist by day and fashion designer by night, has created a line of bold t-shirts that has every celebrity clamoring for more. Perfect on their own, great for layering, and totally acceptable Hamptons chic party attire!
Founded in early 2003, Clarendon was founded to bridge the gap between the flash of the street story and the sophistication of high society. Jonathan wanted the label to fill the void in men's and women's fashion. Clarendon is coming to the Hamptons, finally. You too can rock out like a star, at Intermix on Main Street in Southampton, opening July 4th weekend. Clarendon designer Daniel Payne, formerly of Issey Miyakke and Tommy Hilfiger, speaks of the line to say, "the subject of our graphics range from legends of urban lore to art world icons to pillars of capitalism."
Recently Farnsworth Bentley came in to pick up seven shirts for Cameron Diaz and left with three for himself. And the day after Britney Gastineau wore one on her reality series "Gastineau Girls" their website crashed with over one thousand inquiries into the exact shirt she wore. Jessica Simpson wore a Clarendon t-shirt during an episode of her reality series and caused a run on all stores carrying the line.
At only $45 everyone can look like their favorite celebrity - Parish and
Nicky Hilton, Nicole Richie, Josh Duhamel,
Molly Simms, Fergie of the Black Eyed Peas,
Lindsay Lohan, Mischa Barton, Benecio Del Toro, JC Chasez, Kelly Osborne, and
Justin Timberlake are some of Clarendon's famous fans.
Clarendon t-shirts are available at Intermix in Southampton or online at
www.clarendonnyc.com but you can
win one of six from Hamptonsview.com just by being a member and signing up for the Hamptons Weekly Brief. We'll post the winners here next week.
