Dr. Grassi was bestowed the hospital's Medal of Distinction for building a world-class center for newborn babies with life-threatening illnesses.

Gladys George, President and CEO of Lenox Hill Hospital spoke about this historic time in our country in regard to the
health care reform debate and its profound impact on health care. "One thing will remain constant," she said. "People will continue to value and seek out high quality health care provided by outstanding physicians in a caring, supportive environment. This certainly sounds like Lenox Hill Hospital to me."
