Southampton - Saturday Night was the event of the Spring, The Parrish Art Museum's Spring Fling! This is the major Southampton Spring Event that brings out everyone who is anyone on the East End for one big night to celebrate each other and of course celebrate everyone's favorite museum!

John Bjornen and Adam Leskinen.

The Spring Fling is the Parrish Art Museum's annual community party and fundraiser. This year's celebration featured a live band by Todd Barrie Music, hors d'oeuvres from San Ambroeus Restaurant, and stunning flower arrangements.

Upon entering the museum I was greeted by a very enthusiastic and lovely Museum staff. I must say the waitstaff and bartenders took great care of the guests the entire evening and were unfailingly polite, I wanted for nothing!

The current art exhibition on view throughout the museum is "Fairfield Porter: Raw - The Creative Process of an American Master" which will be on exhibit to June 13, and was a simply beautiful backdrop for this fabulous party.

The front room was bustling as guests used the luxury auction oval table as a route to circle and work the room. The ladies all looked beautiful and seen working the room were Dara Goldstein, Dr. Mark Kot of Southampton, Hamptons.com Managing Editor Eileen Casey, as well as Lindsay Brown and Vanessa Leggard, Linda Ardigo, Leslie Russell, Countess Catherine Buxhoeveden, Kathy Rae, Amadeus Ehrhardt from Engels & Volkers, Beau and Pat Hulse, Denise Bornshein, Edward Callaghan, artist Joe Strand, Monica Asche.

Judy and Michael McDowell.

And the fun continued with Susan and Tim Davis, Steven Krawciw and Irene Aldridge, Suzanne Caldwell and Maria Greenlaw, stars of AOL's "Design Influence" and owners of Design House in Southampton, The Interior Designer Team of John Bjornen and Adam Leskinen from Sag Harbor, Bonnie Jean Renick, Marlene Kellner, Judy and artist Michael McDowell, Carolyn Zenk, Mary Flattery from Corcoran Real Estate, Chris and Kim Allen, owners of The Butlers Manor, Southampton, Eiman Aziz and her husband John, Don Sullivan of the Southampton Publick House, Daron Watson with his wife Joanne, the new General Manager of Saks Fifth Ave Southampton, Amy Winnick, who said they will be doing Mens Fashion at the Southampton store this summer, Nia Gandy, DJ Govia, Katherine Blechman of Katherine & Company Salon & Spa and about 300 other festive guests!

The night was a whirlwind of cocktail party chatter, luxury auction items, and everyone dressed to the nines and working the room at a fun Spring networking event! The main room of the Parrish was swinging with couples on the dance floor enjoying the music.

I remember Marlene Kellner from High School more than 25 years ago! My goodness! Look at her. She has not aged at all. She is as exquisite now as she was back then. God bless her!

The 'Fling' was OUTSTANDING! And Michael McDowell's new show presently at Ashawah Hall is sensational! A must SEE! Radiant colors, passionate and alluring subjects, with impressionist textures.
