Southampton - As the summer winds down the star wattage in The Hamptons still shines bright, as celebs hit local and restaurants and events:

 • Spotted at Nick & Toni's in East Hampton Former President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hilary Clinton dined with Alan Patricof and his wife Susan Tuesday evening in the front room. Surrounded by secret service, the Clintons enjoyed fresh salads to start with a plate of zucchini chips to share at the table and both opted for Nick & Toni's top pasta entrees. Hilary sampled the Bucatini all'Amatriciana, while Bill had Penne alla Vecchia Bettola. Onlookers left the table alone while they enjoyed their meal, but the political duo graciously stopped on their way out to shake hands and pose for a couple photos.

 • Tuesday - Author Jay McInerney with friends, CEO of Goldman Sachs Lloyd Blankfein dined with his wife.
 • Monday - Ron Perelman with girlfriend.

 • Friday - James Lipton with French actor Jean Reno ("The Professional," "Pink Panther," "The Da Vinci Code") and wife and child.

 • Saturday - Howard Schultz with wife and kids.

 • Joe Lieberman, the senator from Connecticut, and his wife and friends dined at Matto in East Hampton last Saturday. They all had branzino filleted tableside.

 • "House" star Peter Jacobson was spotted at Rowdy Hall (10 Main Street, East Hampton) on Monday night having dinner with family.

 • Mario Batali grabbed some tacos at La Fondita in Amagansett on Tuesday afternoon.
