Bay Street Theatre Announces Brand New 'Our Town' Series

Sag Harbor - Don't miss intimate conversations with our most notable neighbors as part of Bay Street Theatre's brand new "Our Town" series beginning Thursday, June 11. For nine Thursdays this summer, Bay Street Artistic Director Murphy Davis will chat with some of the most interesting people who live and work in our area, from artists and authors to playwrights and producers. Come join the conversation!

• On June 11, hear amazing stories about some of the biggest names in theatre from Bay Street Theatre founder Sybil Christopher. For years Ms. Christopher has seen and worked with some of the biggest names in the history of the Stage.

• On June 18 join the man behind the look of Lincoln Center theatre, James McMullan, for a chat about his work, including his Lincoln Center posters and his 1976 New York Magazine cover illustration that inspired the imagery for the film "Saturday Night Fever."

Other participants include Ellen Adler, artist and daughter of famous acting coach Stella Adler; Kathleen Marshall, Tony Award-winning director and choreographer of shows such as "Grease," "The Pajama Game," "Little Shop of Horrors," and "Kiss Me, Kate," to name a few; Floral Designers to the Stars Michael Grim and Jim Osborn of Bridgehampton Florist; Pulitzer Prize winning playwright Lanford Wilson; and artist April Gornik, whose paintings appear in some of the world finest museums. Two surprise guests have yet to be announced.
