As summer starts to wind down, the East End entertainment remains red hot.
Montauk:
Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Seawater Spa’s (290 Old Montauk Highway, Montauk, www.gurneysmontauk.com) will have music from Certain Moves Trio and Kasey Berry on Thursday. Friday will feature Cafe Wha and Stef Nava. Saturday’s headliners include Wilki, Maddy & Manhattan Funk, Konekt Dat, Chris Bachmann, and Vikas. On Sunday, catch Blues Alley Ensemble, and later on at Gurney’s Star Island Resort & Marina (32 Star Island Road, Montauk) there will be a benefit Lobster Bake in support of Concerned Citizens of Montauk at 6 p.m.
The Montauk Beach House (55 South Elmwood Avenue, Montauk, thembh.com) will fête author John O’Malley during a Urethane Revolution book release, signing + reading on Friday from 6 to 9 p.m. From 7 to 11 p.m., there will be AfroFunk Fridays hosted by Ilegal Mezcal. On Saturday, there will be an Obé Fitness class with Madeline at 11 a.m., followed by the weekly pool party (1 to 7 p.m.), which will feature several activations – including a Braid Bar by Allyoos, chilled aloe wipes from Recess, refreshments from WellWell, a CBD hand bathsoak from Rosebud, 5-day oral cleanse sampling from Alka-White, and anklets compliments of Bread Monster. Additionally, Play Sport Club is popping up at The MBH on Saturday with a poolside soiree hosted by Richie Hoein. The afternoon will feature a special performance from Walshy Fire of Major Lazer.
Swallow East (474 West Lake Drive, Montauk, www.swalloweastrestaurant.com) will have performances from Black Tie Brass on Friday from 9:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m., Aqua Cherry on Sunday from 6 to 9 p.m., and Kathleen Fee on Tuesday from 6 to 9 p.m.
The Clam and Chowder House at Salivar’s Dock (470 Westlake Drive, Montauk, www.clamandchowderhouse.com) will have live music from Little Head Thinks on Friday and The 3 B’s on Saturday.
The Summer Concert Series at The Backyard Restaurant at Solé East Resort (90 Second House Road, Montauk, www.soleeast.com) continues on Saturday with a free concert by Beach Fossils, beginning at 6 p.m. There will also be a DJ set by Small Black, earlier in the day, at 1 p.m.
The Surf Lodge (183 Edgemere Street, Montauk, www.thesurflodge.com) will welcome Daya on Saturday and Brett Young, as well as Donavon Frankenreiter’s yearly set on Sunday. During Frankenreiter’s show, multi-media artist and surfer Todd DiCiurcio will join the musician onstage to create a live painting inspired by the performance. Shows begin at 6 p.m. There will also be a special screening of Mystique Sequence, a new film by Tim Georgeson, on Sunday at 8 p.m. The environmental film delves into the relationship between the ocean and the landscape of Montauk, “the most mystical and easterly point of Long Island.”
Amagansett:
Stephen Talkhouse’s (161 Main Street, Amagansett, stephentalkhouse.com) jam-packed Thursday night lineup will feature Kay Glimcher at 6 p.m., Sofia D’Angelo at 8 p.m., and Shadowlands at 10 p.m. Friday kicks off with Suzanne Vega at 7 p.m. and Booga Sugar at 11 p.m. Saturday showcases Inda Eaton at 7 p.m., Juice at 9 p.m., and Rubix Kube at 11 p.m. On Sunday, it’s Oh Solo Wainwright: An Evening with Rufus [Wainwright] at 8 p.m. and then the infamous Hamptons Trash Party!! at 10 p.m. After his Surf Lodge sets, Donavon Frankenreiter & The Record Player Tour comes to the Talkhouse. Matt Grundy will open at 8 p.m. and then it’s Outrageous Open Mic at 10 p.m. Frankenreiter is back on Tuesday at 8 p.m., followed by Industry Night with LHT at 10 p.m.
Indian Wells Tavern (117 Main Street, Amagansett, www.indianwellstavern.com) will have beats by DJ James Ryan on Friday from 11 p.m. to 2 a.m.
East Hampton:

Twilight Thursdays at Wolffer Tasting Room (139 Sagg Road, Sagaponack) will feature music from Points East, while sunset sets at the Wolffer Wine Stand (3312 Montauk Highway, Sagaponack, 631-537-5106, www.wolffer.com) will showcase Lynn Blue on Friday and Hoo Doo Loungers on Saturday.
Townline BBQ’s (3593 Townline Road, Sagaponack, www.townlinebbq.com) Bands, Brews and BBQ on Friday will feature R.E.E.B. (Real East End Brass) from 6 to 9 p.m.
Sag Harbor:
Following the Antigua Barbuda Hamptons Challenge Regatta on Saturday, all are invited to a Caribbean Beach Party at Breakwater Yacht Club (51 Bay Street, Sag Harbor), where there will be great music, delicious Caribbean bites, wine and beer, raffle prizes, a Chinese auction, and more. On Friday, bring out your inner animal during SSC’s annual Get Wild soiree. Expect a lot of animal print (costumes are encouraged), tunes by DJ Martial and percussionist Justin Scheidling.
