“After a successful decade with Philippe in Manhattan, we felt like it was the right time to expand and enter the nightlife arena,” noted Abraham Merchant of Merchants Hospitality Inc. “With this new venture, we will offer the same five-star experience our customers are used to, but this time with an added bonus of a fully curated, all star nightlife experience with The Club at Philippe.”
Celeb favorite, Philippe, will officially open its doors and enter the 2015 Hamptons nightlife scene with its new East End venture over Memorial Day weekend. Restaurateur Abraham Merchant of Merchants Hospitality, Inc. is behind the Philippe brand expansion. “The Hamptons is the perfect location for us, as it draws a sexy and sophisticated crowd with an appetite for great food and entertainment,” noted Merchant.
Of course Philippe wouldn’t be Philippe without Executive Chef Philippe Chow, who will be serving his signature dishes in the restaurant and also a special late night menu for partygoers in The Club, a new Philippe addition. Executive Chef Chow, who has served the likes of Rihanna, Matt Damon, Oprah Winfrey, Anna Wintour, Robert De Niro, Beyonce and Jay-Z, will bring Philippe classics including Salt and Pepper Lobster, Chicken, Shrimp and Steak Satay, Live Maine Lobster, Filet Mignon with oyster sauce, Pink Prawns, and the legendary Peking Duck carved tableside and served with house-made pancakes, to the Hamptons. Patrons can also dine al fresco on the two back patios, which will offer diners a full sushi bar.
After the dining rush is over, The Club at Philippe will offer partygoers a Hamptons hotspot showcasing the talents of world-class DJs. Attendees can sip on a selection of specialty cocktails crafted by master mixologists or try bites from a small menu featuring late night specialties created by Chef Chow.
Philippe is located at 44 Three Mile Harbor Road in East Hampton. For more information, visit philippechow.com.
