Life@Nite: Citizen Cope Headlining Free Concert In Montauk

Citizen Cope is back in the Hamptons this weekend as part of the Summer Concert Series at a Montauk hotspot.

The Stephen Talkhouse (161 Main Street, Amagansett, 631-267-3117, stephentalkhouse.com) is hosting a birthday party for themselves on Thursday, August, 21, 2014. The b-day bash begins at 7 p.m., and proceeds will support the underwrite costs of making Soldier Ride The Movie. The party will be followed by a performance from The House Wreckers at 11 p.m. Friday starts with Ben Langer at 7 p.m., then Big Sam's Funky Nation at 9 p.m., and Booga Sugar at 11 p.m. Patty Smyth & Scandal kick things off on Saturday at 7 p.m., and then Roctopus is on at 9 p.m. and Rubix Kube at 10:30 p.m. Sunday starts with Third World at 8 p.m. and then more celebrating during Nick's Surprise Birthday Party with Rubix Kube at 10 p.m. On Monday, catch Robert Bruey at 7 p.m., Jimmy and Jimmy duo from the band Jimmy and the Parrots at 8:30 p.m. and Love Skills at 10:30 p.m. Tuesday features Black & Sparrow at 8 p.m. and Industry Night with Hello Brooklyn at 10 p.m.

DJ Doug will be manning the lifeguard chair during Beach Bar Hamptons (58 Foster Avenue, Hampton Bays, 631-723-3100, beachbarhamptons.com) presents Lifeguards and Ladies on Friday night.

Conscience Point Promotions is presenting a performance from Tauk at Taps (1271 North Sea Road, Southampton, 631-259-2998) on Friday.

Zum Schneider (4 South Elmwood Avenue, Montauk, 631-238-5963, www.zumschneider.com) will have reggae music from Winston Irie on Friday night, Americana, rock and roll from Hopefully Forgiven on Saturday, and surf blues from Joe Delia & Thieves on Tuesday. All performances are from 9 to 11:59 p.m.

Stop by the Montauk Beach House (55 South Elmwood Avenue, Montauk, 631-668-2112, thembh.com) for a poolside set from DJ Dan Oh on Saturday from 12 to 6 p.m.

The Summer Concert series at The Surf Lodge (183 Edgemere Street, Montauk, 631-483-5037, thesurflodge.com) continues with Wet on Saturday and their final charity concert with eBay Giving Works featuring Sky Ferreira on Sunday.

Citizen Cope is returning to The Backyard Restaurant at Sole East (90 Second House Road, Montauk, 631-668-2105, www.soleeast.com) this weekend for Sole East's Summer Concert Series on Saturday. The concert kicks off at 6:30 p.m.

Whether you're naughty or nice, drop by The Sloppy Tuna (148 South Emerson Avenue, Montauk, 631-647-8000, www.thesloppytuna.com) on Saturday for their annual Heaven & Hell Party.

Join Jamie Hatchett, The Harbor Staff and artist David Gulick at The Harbor Raw Bar & Lounge (440 West Lake Drive, Montauk, 631-668-8260, www.theharbormtk.com) to celebrate Summer Rental & the limited edition Warhol Surf T-shirt on Sunday at 9:30 p.m. The first 30 attendees will receive the limited addition Andy Warhol shirt.

Twister is headlining One Love Sundays at Navy Beach (16 Navy Road, Montauk, 631-668-6868, www.navybeach.com). The sunset set begins at 5 p.m.
