The Fourth Annual ChairScholars Comedy Show To Be Held In NYC

To Help Raise Funds To Send Disabled Students To College

New York City - On Tuesday, October 13, the Fourth Annual ChairScholars Comedy Show will be held at Hudson Terrace (621 West 46th Street, NYC) to help raise funds to send disabled students to college. Cocktails and comedy for a cause will feature a special performance by "Curb Your Enthusiasm" star Susie Essman, which begins at 8 p.m.

Essman, who releases her book "What Would Susie Say?: Bullsh*t Wisdom About Love, Life and Comedy," that same day), MC Donny Deutsch and Charity Chairs Andrew Fox, NY Chapter President and CEO Track Entertainment, and "Real Housewives of NYC" Jill Zarin, actress Sarah Bradford, "The Bold & The Beautiful's" Heather Tom and NYU sophomore Quemeul Arroyo, this year's scholarship recipient will all be in attendance.

Fox and the ChairScholars Foundation are proud to have helped send 461 students to school and hope that you will be able to attend this worthwhile and fun event.

The event begins at 7 p.m., and the comedy show begins at 8 p.m. Cocktails will run from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Tickets are availabe at www.chairscholars.org, $100 General Admission, $250 Reserved Seating (limited tickets, advance purchase recommended), $500 Priority Seating (limited tickets, advance purchase recommended), $2,500 Scholarship Sponsor, includes four priority seats and program recognition.

Quemeul Arroyo is a 20 year old who was severely handicapped in a biking accident in 2007. He is now wheelchair bound but thanks to the ChairScholars
Foundation, and a chance meeting with NY Chapter President Andrew Fox, Arroyo is now a full time NYU student with a bright future.

After Arroyo met Fox, the CEO of Track Entertainment, at the hospital he was encouraged to apply for the ChairScholars Foundation N.Y. scholarship. He
won, and is now a full time NYU sophomore, studying Urban Planning, and living at the dorm that once housed the Palladium.

Fox became involved in this cause in particular, as he believes that higher education is the most vital link to economic stability and self-sufficiency for the severely physically disabled. An astonishing three out of every four children with a physical disability can't go to college or vocational school due to the financial burden of their disability.
