First Annual IGHL Luncheon And Fashion Fling Announced

Westhampton - Cathy Moriarty, best known for her performance as Vicki LaMotta, the wife of Robert De Niro's lead character, in a performance that earned her a nomination for the Academy Award for the Best Supporting Actress in the movie, "Raging Bull,' is a part of the committee organizing the First Annual IGHL Luncheon and Fashion Fling on Sunday, Sept. 27, at Westhampton Country Club from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. The luncheon and fashion show will benefit Independent Group Home Living (IGHL), enriching the lives of the developmentally disabled.
Moriarty is joined by Mary Lou McCann and Julie McCann Mulligan of 1-800-FLOWERS. McCann Mulligan is the author of "A Year Full of Flowers: Fresh Ideas to Bring Flowers Into Your Life Everyday," written in collaboration with Jim McCann and Bo Niles. Ann Liguori, WFAN & WLIU sports talk show host and golf/tennis expert and author, is also on the committee.
IGHL hosts various benefits throughout the year to raise money for developmentally disabled people, faced with difficult challenges on a daily basis. IGHL is dedicated to helping them lead more fuller, more independent lives.
The fashion show will be hosted by Debbie Gildersleeve, owner of Renee's Womens Wear in Mattituck on the North Fork.
