Suffolk County Chapter of The American Red Cross To Hold Summer Gala

Sag Harbor - Diane Amarosa, Executive Director of the Suffolk County Chapter of the American Red Cross, announced the chapter's annual summer gala will be held at the renowned B. Smith's in Sag Harbor on Saturday, Aug. 29.
The evening begins at 7 p.m. and will include a buffet-style dinner, dancing to the calypso music of Vivian and the Merry Makers and a silent auction.
Proceeds from the event will benefit Long Islanders who depend on the Red Cross for food, clothing and temporary shelter following a disaster. Also provided are meals and activities for senior citizens, as weel as life-saving classes for CPR, First Aid, AED, swimming, and life guarding.
