John Fogerty to benefit
Group for the East End on Sunday, Sept. 6 on Shelter Island.
The Eco-Rockin' All Over the World concert will directly benefit Group for the East End's work to protect and preserve the natural environment of Long Island's East End.
"Off the heels of our participation in the Ecofabulous event held at the Wolffer Estate Vineyards earlier this summer, we are very proud to continue supporting Group for the East End in their efforts to help conserve the environment," said
Jeff Glassman, co-founder of Fire Island Beer Company.
Fire Island Lighthouse Ale, the craft-beer start-up's flagship beer, will be available at an open bar during the show, which will take place at the Shelter Island home of
Katherine and
Marco Birch. A Bayou Country Barbecue also will be served. Doors open at 5:30 p.m.

The minimum donation per person is $300, with $200 tax deductible. The VIP pack costs $1,500, with $1,100 tax deductible. The VIP pack includes four tickets, as well as a meet-and-greet and photo with John Fogerty.

Fire Island Lighthouse Ale is the first of many offerings from Fire Island Beer Company. Inspired by the laid-back ambiance of Fire Island, its creators like to call it "Craft Beer from The Other New York." Its second offering, Fire Island Red Wagon IPA, is slated for launch in October.
