Sag Harbor - Stages, A Children's Theatre Workshop, Inc., is hosting its first annual Princess Party on Sunday, July 26, from 2:30 p.m to 5:30 p.m. at the Grenning Gallery, 17 Washington Street, off Main Street in Sag Harbor. The event celebrates Stages' 15 years of producing live family theater on the East End of Long Island, and is a benefit for Stages and its scholarship program, which ensures that Stages can remain accessible to all children.
Children ages three and older are invited to come and meet their favorite fairy tale princesses. There will be a special live musical performance by the Princesses, a Regal Silent Auction, and Royal Souvenirs for all. To round out the festivities, Princess Paraphernalia and professional photographs with the Princesses will be available for purchase. Dressing like a princess is highly recommended.
Since 1994, Stages has touched the lives of thousands of children, those who perform onstage, as well as those who are its audience. Stages has produced over 75 full-length musical productions in the After School Performance Workshop and in the popular Summer Stock program. Stages also offers a Creative Drama Class, which is an introduction to acting for younger children. Renowned for the quality and professionalism of its theatrical productions, Stages has become an important theatrical presence on the East End. Entrance to the Princess Party is $60 for an adult and one child. Each additional child is $35. Please note that each group must be accompanied by an adult.
