Southampton - The Institute For Civic Leadership (ICL) will hold a benefit on July 3, at Edit, 38 Jobs Lane, Southampton, 38 Jobs Lane, from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., hosted by
Kira Cohen and
Charlie Walk. Shopping and cocktails will be available with a percentage of sales donated to ICL.
Founded in 2001, The Institute for Civic Leadership (ICL)is an educational and youth leadership non-profit organization based in New York City (www.iclny.org), whose mission is to inspire and educate students in grades Kindergarten through 12 to be civic ambassadors in educational development, public health service, poverty elimination, human rights advocacy, and eco-friendly lifestyles. Students are then provided opportunities for to take action serving in communities and villages in China, India, Peru, Saudi Arabia, and Tanzania. The ICL model allows students to be networked throughout the 1,500 International Baccalaureate schools in North America.
