Super Saturday 12 is a fun-filled, family-oriented, daylong fundraiser to benefit OCRF, complete with a one-of-a-kind designer garage sale, kids' carnival and activities, raffle and gourmet treats. Once dubbed "the Rolls Royce of garage sales," the most anticipated element of Super Saturday is the fashion garage sale, which includes merchandise from over 200 of the most prominent designers including Donna Karan, Theory,
Carolina Herrera,
Calvin Klein, Catherine Malandrino,
Diane von Furstenberg, Giorgio Armani,
Ralph Lauren and Valentino.
The special Super Saturday Accessories Salon will showcase luxury accessories from designers such as
Louis Vuitton, Emilio Pucci and
Tory Burch. For the second year in a row, the Designers A to Zoe by
Rachel Zoe booth will feature fantastic participants such as Giuseppe Zanotti, Kara Ross, Proenza Schouler, Temperley London, Versace and
Zac Posen.
Once again, OCRF has joined forces with leading multimedia retailer QVC® to make this exciting event available to shoppers nationwide. Broadcasting live from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. (ET), QVC Presents Super Saturday Live will offer viewers the chance to purchase a variety of products including apparel, accessories, jewelry and beauty at amazing prices with all net proceeds benefiting OCRF.

In addition to the incredible shopping, Super Saturday 12 will offer attendees an action packed afternoon filled with indulgences. Guests can relax their mind and body at the SoulCycle's pedicure salon. Shoppers can stop by at Nintendo's Girlfriends Guide to Gaming Lounge where they can get out of the sun and have some fun, reviving their shopping spirits. Ladies will also be able to pamper themselves at the RueLaLa.com Treat Yourself tent, featuring Exhale Mind Body Spa, and receive polish changes by Essie Cosmetics.
Grown-ups aren't the only ones who have fun at the event. There will be rides, games and arts and crafts galore. Kids can visit Camp Divalysscious where they will enjoy "green" activities including decorating flower holders and painting recycled tote bags, as well as enjoy performances by Broadway Babies and Miss Pinkie, face painting, s'more making and cookie decorating with Eleni's Cookies. Spirituality for Kids will offer interactive lessons and activities that empower children to learn important life tools. Aspiring chefs can decorate cupcakes at the Crumbs Bakeshop.
Super Saturday was created by Donna Karan, the late Liz Tilberis and OCRF's President Faith Kates Kogan in 1998. Karan has underwritten the event ever since its founding and all net proceeds raised from Super Saturday go directly to OCRF's research programs.
In Style has been a sponsor and host of Super Saturday since 2001. Super Saturday 11 in 2008 raised over $3.7 million.
Ticket prices for Super Saturday 12 are $450 (regular) or $650 (preview) for adults and $150 for children ages five through 16. Kids under five will be admitted free of charge. Preview tickets include access to an exclusive pre-shopping hour from 12 noon to 1 p.m., as well as a goodie bag. Tables and sponsor packages are also available beginning at $2,500.
About the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund
The Ovarian Cancer Research Fund was founded in 1994. Its mission is to fund research into early detection and ultimately a cure for ovarian cancer. In support of its mission, OCRF assists patients and their loved ones to understand the disease and its treatment, and provides outreach programs to raise public awareness of ovarian cancer.
Funding for research is directed through the OCRF Scientific Advisory Committee, a group of 11 of the leading gynecologic oncologists and researchers in the United States. They review and make recommendations for funding three high-impact grant programs. Since 1998, OCRF has awarded over $33 million in grants to 138 of the brightest women and men working in the field of cancer research at over 40 of the leading medical centers in the United States.
To purchase tickets or for more information, call London Misher Public Relations at 212-759-2800, ext. 22 or visit the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund's website at www.ocrf.org.
