The Hampton Bays Historical & Preservation Society’s annual winter gathering, a Villa Paul Dinner, will be held on Sunday, January 20. The fundraiser, taking place at the Hampton Bays-based eatery, will offer a full three course dinner – which will be available from 4:30 to 9 p.m.
Attendees will have their choice of baked clams, a garden salad or mozzarella with roasted red peppers for an appetizer, while the main course will boast Penne ala vodka, Veal Parmesan, Broiled Salmon or Chicken Francaise. To finish off the evening, there will be sour cream coffee cake or strawberry shortcake for dessert.
“Come enjoy a delicious meal at the lovely Villa Paul with your neighbors and friends while supporting our upcoming historic endeavors,” invites Hampton Bays Historical & Preservation Society President Brenda Sinclair.
Proceeds from the evening will support the Society’s mission, which includes “enhancing pride and community involvement in Hampton Bays; preserving Hampton Bays’ historic past, restoring historic structures and sites worthy of preservation effort; inspiring Hampton Bays to record our history and preserve our heritage for future generations; developing positive attitudes towards archives and libraries as places for life-long learning; and educating the general public and students about our ‘unique’ heritage through our monthly lecture series, quarterly ‘Good Ground Newsletter,’ special events and exhibitions.”
Admission to the Villa Paul Dinner is $45 per adult and $12 for children 12-years-old or under. Those that feel like dining in can also take advantage of the take out option. Reservations are optional.
Villa Paul is located at 162 West Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays. For more information, visit www.hamptonbayshistoricalsociety.com.
