Gather your girlfriends and get ready for a fantastic Girls Night Out – for a great cause – at Gurney’s Montauk Resort & Spa in Montauk on Friday, November 16.
Presented by The Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital, attendees, who are encouraged to don their wildest pink outfit, will enjoy an evening of wine and cocktails, hors d’oeuvres, raffles, music, dancing, luxurious spa pampering – including hand massages, chair massages, and pink hair extensions, and more. There will also be a special appearance from the “balloon boy crew.”
“Girls Night Out is our biggest event and 100 percent of the monies raised stays in our local East End community,” noted Susan Roden, Founder and President, The Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Southampton Hospital. “With help from Girls Night Out we can continue to offer support, strength and hope to the women diagnosed with breast and gynecological cancers.”
The festive soiree, which will take place from 7 to 10 p.m., will be hosted by Jason Galka with DJ Roggie Rog.
“Gurney’s is thrilled to host the 10th annual Girls Night Out event benefiting the Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital,” noted Michael Nenner, Area General Manager at Gurney’s Resorts.
In celebration of the grand gathering, Hampton Jitney will offer complimentary transportation from four of its stops to Gurney’s. There will also be special room rates at Gurney’s and those that visit the following day will receive 20 percent off of spa treatments.
“It’s a beautiful evening filled with women supporting women in our own community and is something we look forward to every year,” Nenner added.
Admission to Girls Night Out is $45 in advance or $60 at the door. Support level tickets are $75, which include the choice of one treatment, and empowerment level tickets are $150 and include the choice of one treatment, a psychic reading, five raffle tickets and a gift bag.
The Coalition for Women’s Cancers at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital is dedicated to “early detection and empowerment to bring about better health care and an improved quality of life.” The local, volunteer-driven group offers support and assistance to women and their families that have been impacted by breast and gynecological cancers.
