Not quite ready to bid farewell to summer 2018? On Saturday, September 8, Southampton History Museum is holding its annual Late Summer Cocktail Party from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Hosted by Peter L. Hallock and Marge Sullivan, the fabulous fête will feature indulgent hors d’oeuvres, an open bar and dancing on the lawn of the Museum’s Gilded Aged Rogers Mansion in Southampton.
“This outdoor party on the Great Lawn of the Rogers Mansion attracts a mix of young people and old friends,” noted Tom Edmonds, Southampton History Museum Executive Director.
The evening will celebrate Southampton Village Mayor Michael Irving and donning festive attire is highly encouraged.
“It’s one of the few places where guests can eat, drink and dance under the stars of Southampton,” Edmonds added.
Proceeds from the benefit, which is one of the final summer soirees of the season, will support the Museum’s education programs, which include programming like hearthside cooking, Conscience Point tours, and Good Manners Tea Party.
Admission to the Late Summer Cocktail Party ranges from $35 to $80.
Rogers Mansion is located at 17 Meeting House Lane in Southampton. For more information, visit www.southamptonhistory.org.
