It wouldn’t be the holiday season without Eastern Long Island Hospital (ELIH) Auxiliary’s annual “Denim and Dice in December” – which is taking place from 7 to 11 p.m. on Saturday, December 2 at Peconic Bay Yacht Club in Southold.
“I’m looking forward to this year’s event being even more spectacular than last year!” remarked Connie Connor, Chair/TWIGS, Eastern Long Island Hospital. “Thanks to everyone who makes this happen.”
If you roll the dice on the Eastern Long Island Hospital benefit, you’ll test your luck (or skill) with casino games, including a Texas Holdem’ Table, enjoy a dinner buffet, dessert, cocktails, a DJ and spectacular prizes. And, of course, it’ll be a sea of blue jeans, as it’s highly encouraged that guests don their best denim, and since it is the holiday season, don’t be surprised if there’s bedazzle all around you.
All proceeds from “Denim and Dice in December” support patient care at Eastern Long Island Hospital, a 90-bed, full-service, community hospital that is dedicated “to delivering excellence in patient care and meeting all the health needs of the North Fork and Shelter Island.”
Tickets are $125 per person and includes $125 in playing chips. Reservations are required to join the Texas Holdem’ Table.
