On Saturday, June 3, Michael Apuzzo, Eric Gunhus, David Nickle, and Hal Rubenstein will present the Second Annual Dancers for Good Benefit at the Ross School Court Theater, Center for Well-Being, in East Hampton. The evening will commemorate pioneering, inspiring dancers who have committed their entire lives to the marvels of movement.
”The show is so wonderful and diverse,” shared Bebe Neuwirth, who is hosting the benefit. “It’s so gratifying to see different kinds of dancers, and different aspects of life displayed in dance.”
Attendees will watch in awe as 36 tremendously talented dancers from some of the top troupes in the contemporary dance world – including Paul Taylor Dance Company, American Ballet Theatre, New York City Ballet, and Eryc Taylor Dance, Inc. – take the stage for a dynamic, unforgettable evening of dance. 2017 performers will include Chris Bell, Addison Ector, Doug Baum, Mike Novak, Jamie Rae Walker, Alban Lendorf, Dale Ratcliff, Eran Jones, Grace Buckley, Heather McGinley, Isabella Boylston, Jamal Story, Jillian Davis, Natalie Ortiz, Russell Janzen, Ryan Redmond, Sean Mahoney, Teresa Reichlen, Adrienne Canterna, and more.
“And what makes the show even more exciting is that these dancers are so jazzed to be doing this, to be here,” added Neuwirth. “Their enthusiasm is as inspiring as their talent.”
The performance will begin at 7:30 p.m. and a reception, with cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and an opportunity to meet the dancers, will follow.
Proceeds from the Second Annual Dancers for Good Benefit will support The Dancers’ Resource/Career Transition For Dancers of The Actors Fund and Paul Taylor Dance Foundation.
Tickets begin at $200.
