The Island Gift of Life Foundation will be hosting their 2nd Annual Summer Soiree this August at the Ram’s Head Inn on Shelter Island. The Foundation, which focuses on helping support patients on Long Island’s East End who are suffering from life-threatening illnesses, will use the Soirée on Saturday, August 13th to raise money to help those who need treatment.
The benefit will feature an exclusive J. McLaughlin trunk show, an art auction highlighting the work of local artists, music by Points East, and cocktails and hors d’oeuvres overlooking a beautiful view of the water, provided by the “iconic” Ram’s Head Inn, from 4 to 7 p.m.
“The Summer Soirée at the Ram’s Head Inn gives the Gift of Life Foundation a chance to connect with our summer residents, neighbors, and supporters,” notes Ken Lewis, President of the Island Gift of Life Foundation. “The more people we can reach with our mission, the more people will know to reach out to us for assistance when they need it the most.”
The Annual Summer Soirée will be a great chance to have fun while helping those in need.
“It’s truly a fun afternoon with friends in the most scenic setting, celebrating the beauty of summer on the East End,” added Lewis.
Tickets to The Island Gift of Life Foundation’s 2nd Annual Summer Soiree are $50.
