On Saturday, November 7th, join the East Hampton Rotary Club for its debut Trivia Night fundraiser, taking place at The East Hampton Neighborhood House from 7 to 10 p.m.
“There is nothing trivial about trivia night,” said Heather Dunn-Kostura. “We are hosting the event to raise money for local organizations primarily geared toward the youth in our community.”
Do you know what year East Hampton was founded? How about who founded it? If you’re a wealth of knowledge, in regards to the East End’s past, then you’re bound to do well in the Trivia Night kickoff. The first round, presented by Town Crier Hugh King, will focus on local history. Townline BBQ’s Paul Johnson will present the rest of the rounds. Each player from the winning team will take home a $100 gift certificate to The Palm in East Hampton.
“It will be a great evening of food, fun and fundraising,” noted Dunn-Kostura.
Trivia Night is open to teams of six people. Tickets are $40 per person, and include a raw bar, pasta buffet, and the first glass of wine or beer.
All proceeds from the benefit will support local organizations. Recent East Hampton Rotary Club projects and donations include a new scoreboard for the East Hampton High School, dictionaries for 4th graders, and bike racks in Montauk.
The East Hampton Neighborhood House is located at 92 Three Mile Harbor Road in East Hampton. For more information, call 516-729-0534 or visit www.easthamptonrotary.us.
