On Saturday, September 5th from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m., Housing Works is hosting an end of summer soiree, Labor of Love, which will support the organization’s lifesaving efforts to stop the AIDS epidemic.
“We are thrilled to present this event alongside Board Member Brian Kelly, “The Points Guy,” and to welcome to the Labor of Love stage a performance by Mia Moretti and Margot of The Dolls,” shared Matthew Bernardo, Housing Works Chief Operating Officer.
One of the final events of the Hamptons summer season, the evening will take place at a private residence in East Hampton. Partygoers will enjoy specialty cocktails by Double Cross Vodka, delicious hors d’oeuvres by Chef Ian McHugh, and a special performance by Mia Moretti and Margot of The Dolls.
“Friends, philanthropists, and celebrities will gather this weekend at Labor of Love: The Hamptons to support Housing Works’ efforts to end the AIDS epidemic in New York State by 2020,” noted Bernardo. “This signature Housing Works benefit will be held in the beautiful gardens of a private East Hampton residence.”
Housing Works is a healing community of people, who are either living with or have been affected by HIV/AIDS. The organization’s goal is to end the dual crises of homelessness and AIDS through tireless activism, providing lifesaving services, and entrepreneurial businesses that sustain their efforts.
