“CMEE is thrilled to honor Adeline Neubert, one of the Museum’s longest serving trustees who helped guide CMEE through the rough financial waters of the Great Recession to the wonderful success we enjoy today,” noted Children’s Museum of the East End (CMEE) President Stephen Long.
On Saturday, August 15th from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., the Children’s Museum of the East End is hosting their Summer Soiree, which will pay tribute to Adeline Neubert’s legacy of service and commitment to the Bridgehampton-based museum. Neubert, a CMEE Trustee Emerita, first started volunteering with the Museum in 1999, and was elected to the Board of Trustees in 2004. She joined the Executive Committee as Treasurer in 2007, and ran the search committee to find a new Executive Director. At the end of her term on the Board in 2013, she was unanimously welcomed as an Emerita.
The full-time East End resident is thrilled to support CMEE’s Summer Soiree and assist underserved members of the local community. Proceeds from the evening will help underwrite CMEE’s bilingual afterschool workshops, family literacy classes, and educational outreach to low-income families.
Tickets start at $100 per person and $150 per couple.
Children’s Museum of the East End is located at 376 Bridgehampton-Sag Harbor Turnpike in Bridgehampton. For more information about CMEE, call 631-537-8250 or visit www.cmee.org.
