“I’m thrilled to be part of All In Together because I’ve seen firsthand what women can accomplish when they roll up their sleeves and dive into the political process,” noted Anne Fulenwider, Editor-in-Chief of Marie Claire and All In Together Board Member. “I’m looking forward to sharing this important mission with a broader audience in East Hampton next weekend.”
On Saturday, August 1st from 6 to 8 p.m., Fulenwider, along with Kate Friedman and Victoria Meakin, will co-host the All In Together (AIT) Campaign’s inaugural Hamptons Summer Soirée benefit. The evening will support AIT, a non-profit, non-partisan organization that is committed to ensuring women’s voices are better represented in the American political process.
“Our goals are simple and measurable,” said AIT co-founder and CEO Lauren Leader-Chivee. “We want to ensure our democracy is reflective of all of our citizens, and as more than half the population and the electorate, women are an especially important audience whose voices go largely unheard. This is one of the few issues people agree on no matter what their politics.”
A prominent group of bipartisan leaders and philanthropists from the corporate, non-profit, academic and political worlds will come together in support of the East Hampton event. Attendees will enjoy drinks and hors d’oeuvres, while discussing future challenges and opportunities.
“I am honored to host the first AIT Summer Soirée,” expressed Friedman. “It will be a great experience to be with a group of diverse individuals who all ultimately want the same thing: a stronger country and a stronger democracy though the participation and engagement of women.”
Tickets are $150.
