Russell Simmons, Danny Simmons, Joseph “Rev. Run” Simmons and the Board of Directors of Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation are presenting Art For Life: The Roaring Twenties on Saturday, July 18th. The annual Hamptons happening will commemorate Rush Philanthropic’s 20th anniversary.
Held at Fairview Farms in Bridgehampton, the evening will honor Dave Chappelle, Michaela and Simon de Pury, and Ava DuVernay. Soledad O’Brien will once again host the soiree, which features a special performance from Bell Biv Devoe and music by DJ M.O.S. Art For Life will kickoff at 6 p.m. with cocktails, followed by dinner and program at 7 p.m.
Honorary Chairs include Star Jones, Loren and JR Ridinger, with Daniel Bass, Michelle Gadsden-Williams and David Jamal Williams, Kimberley Hatchett, Rhonda R. Mims, Racquel Oden of Merrill Lynch, Camilla Olsson, Josue Sejour of The Sejour Group, and Jim Williams of Williams Telecommunications as Event Chairs.
Art For Life is Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation’s primary fundraising initiative, held in celebration of the creative energy of inner-city youth and to pay tribute to exemplary individuals for success in their respective fields as well as efforts to better the community. Rush Philanthropic aims to present the highest quality of arts education for inner-city youth, with a particular focus on underserved, under-recognized or disadvantaged populations.
Individual tickets begin at $1,500.
