The Water Mill Festival on Saturday, August 3, will be a fun daylong event for children and adults. Taking place at Water Mill Square, (670 Montauk Highway) the event unites two well-respected charities, "Group For The East End
," and the educational films produced by "INFORM," while celebrating the common goal of preserving the East End.
The day kicks off 11 a.m. and ends at 4 p.m. with various activities for families and kids of all ages including music, games, prizes, and snacks showcased because of their commitment to sustainability and heath. The afternoon will also include arts and crafts, face painting, and customized canvas sneaker painting by "Your Studio Art." Ambassadors from the "Group for the East End" will present aquatic demonstrations for the kids. "INFORM" will be screening the award winning short film "Secret Life," hourly.
From 4 to 9 p.m. a benefit party and cocktail reception will be held. Enjoy cocktails as well as appetizers created from sustainable local ingredients. The night will also include silent auctions, music, a photography exhibition by celebrated photographers Rose Hartman
and Vital Agibalow and as the sun sets, models will strut during a fashion show featuring designs by Julie Brown, Lu Berry
, Sofie Bly, Michelle Farmer, Bjorn Bengtsson, and Biba
