About The Project
Right now, nearly 1.3 million New Yorkers will visit a soup kitchen or food pantry to get their next meal. With so many people already in need, the problem is exacerbated by the looming 40 percent reduction to federal emergency food funding - the country is in a hunger crisis. In a country that produces more than enough food for everyone, no one should have to worry about where their next meal is coming from.
