Southampton - On Friday, March 4, 2011, the Hamptons media masters of print, TV, radio and digital media, will trade in their laptops and cameras for sequins and fringes.

Southampton Press and others have volunteered to participate in "Dancing With the Hamptons Media," a benefit fundraiser for Your Day Away, including
David Rattiner of

Claire Walla of the
Sag Harbor Express,
Michael Wright of the 27East Press Group,
Drew Beebe and
Cassie Spreitzer of Plum TV will be among several of the Hamptons' media stars who will be stepping out in style to show off their dance moves.
The dance event will take place at the beautiful Seasons of Southampton from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. All funds raised at the "Dancing with the Hamptons Media" event will be used specifically for the benefit of Nassau and Suffolk County residents. There will be a raffle drawing, great dancing and more for all to enjoy. Tickets are priced at $55 per person and are available in person at The Arthur Murray School of Dance in Southampton or online at

The Arthur Murray School of Dance in Southampton has donated $1,500 in private instruction for each participant to prepare for a Showcase Performance at the March 4th event. Your Day Away is a U.S. based not-for-profit organization that provides respite for the parents and/or guardians for special needs children. Although the organization is national with an international reach, all funds raised at the "Dancing with the Hamptons Media" event will specifically benefit local residents in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
