New York City - On Saturday, May 15, the Mark Seven Deaf Foundation will host a Metamorphosis Gala at the Lincoln Center Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse (70 Lincoln Center Plaza, 10th floor) in New York City. The event will honor
Meredith "Muffy" Greenough, daughter of the late world-renowned opera singer

In memory of her mother, Greenough has created the Beverly Sills and Meredith Greenough Endowment Fund for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing with a goal of raising $1 million dollars over three years. Black tie optional.
The event will benefit the Beverly Sills and Meredith Greenough Endowment Fund for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing and will ensure funds and renovations for a 100-year-old recreational summer camp lodge for deaf youth and hard of hearing, where campers learn to interact with others and become adept to swimming, hiking, canoeing and much more. Donations to the fund have been received by
John McEnroe,

Carol Burnett.
The event will feature mimes, jugglers, magicians and palm readings as well as rounds of "Shooting Texas Hold 'Em." Guests will have the exclusive opportunity to enjoy the panoramic night-time view of New York City while supporting a great cause. Highlights will be filmed by
DeafNation, premiere web magazine. Interpreters will be provided.
About Mark Seven Deaf Foundation And Camp Mark 7
CM7 was established in 1981 by Fr. Thomas Coughlin and members of the Deaf Catholic Community. The foundation has owned Camp Mark Seven (CM7), located in New York's Adirondack Mountains near Old Forge. CM7 is a 7.2-acre summer, recreational, lakefront camp for deaf and hard-of-hearing children and youth, where young campers learn to interact with others in the same age groups and become adept at swimming, hiking, canoeing, social discourse and much more. Each summer, CM7 continues to offer an array of recreational, educational, leadership and spiritual programs for deaf, hard-of-hearing youth, children and elders, as well as courses in American Sign Language, programs for the religious and lay persons and ElderCamp Week. CM7 became accredited when it received the prestigious American Camping Association Award in 1998 for its work and accredited facility. Everyone of all religious beliefs are welcome.
