Southampton - Summertime in the Hamptons, and the livin' sure is easy, and fun too. So many events, galas, and worthy causes to attend and bring attention to certainly keeps everyone hopping about.

Baby Buggy supporters Reed and Delphine Krakoff hosted the Fifth Annual Baby Buggy Summer Dinner, along with co-hosts Jessica Seinfeld, founder of the organization, and husband comedian Jerry Seinfeld, on Saturday, July 31, 2011. The intimate event, which raised more than $275,000 for the organization, was sponsored by the Reed Krakoff brand for 145 friends, board members and long-time supporters of Baby Buggy, including Blythe Danner, Gayle King, Gwyneth Paltrow, James and Kimberly Van Der Beek, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos, Kyle MacLachlan and Desiree Gruber, Mark Feuerstein and Dana Klein, Nacho Figueras and Delfina Blaquier, Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman.

The fundraiser was held at the historic Krakoff Estate Lasata in East Hampton. Baby Buggy is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing families in need with essential equipment, clothing, products, and educational tools and services for their children. The charity is celebrating its 10th anniversary this year.


Fun movie night last week at Regal Southampton Theater. Hamptons.com, WBAZ and Universal Studios hosted a special advance screening of the new film "The Change-Up" starring Ryan Reynolds and Jason Bateman.

Directed by David Dobkin ("The Wedding Crashers"), and written by Jon Lucas and Scott Moore ("The Hangover") this hilarious comedy is a must see as it takes the body-switching premise and "throws it off a cliff." Not going to give away anymore, but both these actors are just fantastic, with great support from Leslie Mann, who is familiar for her fantastic portrayals of the long-suffering wife in a number of films.

This past Friday, Southampton boutique Edit Summer and co-founders Valerie Feigen and Alissa Emerson hosted a trunk show featuring the Punch Shifts collection from Vanity Fair editor Punch Hutton.

Corcoran Real Estate on the East End threw their annual beach party at Long Beach in Sag Harbor recently. Everyone in attendance had a ball.

On Saturday, July 30 Odin Fragrances celebrated the launch of their most recent fragrance 06 Amanu as well as Odin Home Fragrances, candles that mirror the first four eau de toilettes, at East Hampton hotspot Georgica. Odin Fragrances is the unisex set of fragrances from Odin co-owners Paul Birardi and Eddy Chai. The evening went late into the night as guests cooled down with Perrier-Jouet champagne and music from DJ and actress Taryn Manning. Attendees included Ashley Baker, Executive Editor of The Daily Front Row, model Jessica White, model Alina Bascau; designers Timo Weiland and Alan Eckstein; jeweler Lorraine Schwartz; and owner of Gerogica Antonio Fuccio.

 • On Saturday afternoon, designer Timo Weiland showcased his newest fashion collection for men and women at Tenet Shop in Southampton. Guests were treated to a sneak preview of Weiland's line while sipping on complimentary Xanté cocktails.

 • Navy Beach hosted "Sunset Sets" which featured live music on Friday, August 5 and Sunday, August 7. Friday's performance featured local legend Nancy Atlas, playing original Americana rock with a touch of Southern Comfort. Sunday's performance features Winston Irie's reggae.

 • Snooki and her friends brought their Jersey style to 75 Main and enjoyed dinner and drinks, while Tila Tequila was seen with her girlfriend on the dance floor throughout the night. Grammy Winner Jennifer Hudson was also seen having lunch there with her pals before heading to the beach to show off her new body. Also there for a quick lunch was actress Michelle Rodriguez enjoying bottles of Rose and burgers with her girlfriends.

 • "The Real Housewives of New York City's" Sonja Morgan was seen at celebrity hotspot Philippe Jericho with a girlfriend after being detoured from exit 40 due to a road closure.

 • Kris Humphries was spotted hanging out with friends at AXE Lounge this weekend.

 • Actor Ed Norton hanging out with Russell Simmons at the "Art for Life" after-party at SL East on Saturday night.

 • Pants Party's 7th Annual Beach Party was held at Gin Beach on Saturday. The even was hosted by The Randolph at Broome and benefited The New York City Coalition Against Hunger. Guests enjoyed food, drinks, live music and a great SWAG Bag by RumbaTime watches.

 • Taryn Manning hung out poolside with supermodel Jessica White at Kelly Brady and Matt Levine's Ciroc Cabana Club.

 • Georgica was celebrity sighting central this past weekend with Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Michelle Rodriguez, Michael Strahan, Russell Simmons, supermodel Linda V all hanging out on Friday Night.

 • On Sunday night Jimmy Fallon dined at Georgica.

 • Drea de Matteo of "The Sopranos" and singer husband Shooting Jennings dined at Serafina in East Hampton with daughter Alabama and newborn son Waylon and a group of friends and family. They shared a bunch of dishes family style from the menu including fresh pastas and homemade pizzas.

 • Ed Burns was spotted having a bite Saturday night at Indian Wells Tavern in Amagansett with his band members before a gig at The Stephen Talkhouse.

 • "The Wonder Years" child actor Fred Savage was spotted enjoying dinner on the beach at Navy Beach in Montauk on Saturday night with a large group.

 • Howard Stern and Beth Ostrowsky dined with Matt and Annette Lauer at Nick & Toni's in East Hampton on the front porch. Also on Friday night, Paul McCartney and Nancy Shevell dined in a quiet corner in the back room.
