On Thursday, Aug. 27, local Bridgehamptonite
Bob Balaban will join Davis on stage to talk about his extensive and successful career in show business as actor, producer, writer and director. Balaban is perhaps best known for his roles on "Seinfeld" as well as his many collaborations with
Christopher Guest in such films as "A Mighty Wind," "Best in Show," and "Waiting for Guffman." He served as writer and producer of the popular film, "Gosford Park," which received numerous awards including Best Picture nomination.
On Sept. 3, the summer series comes to a close with film and Broadway critic
Jeffrey Lyons. Lyons currently hosts radio and television shows, and has appeared as himself in several films. He is also the author of four books about movies and will chat about all on Sept. 3 at 4 p.m.
