On Saturday, October 31st and Sunday, November 1st, Electronic Payments, a national payments processor, is inviting the East End community to come down to Calverton to find a great bargain, while supporting the local Long Island community.
"With the holiday season upon us, many charities are in need of extra support and resources," noted Michael Nardy, Electronic Payments Founder and CEO. "There couldn't be a better, more gratifying way for our team to work together and give back to those in our community at a time they need it most."
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. on both days, thrifty shoppers can score deals on a variety of goods, several of which will come from the former Cinco de Mayo Restaurant, a site that Electronic Payments recently purchased to develop a new, state-of-the-art storage and deployment facility. The yard sale will also feature industrial kitchen appliances, light fixtures and various furnishings, as well as a selection of lightly used merchandise and items generously donated by Electronic Payments staff and colleagues.
Proceeds from the event will support Island Harvest
, who collects and distributes food to those in need in New York; Maureen's Haven
, who provides shelter, support and compassionate services to homeless adults on the East End of Long Island; and Human Resources of the Hamptons
, who provides a network of support for those in need.
The yard sale will take place at 3725 Middle Country Road in Calverton. For more information about the event, contact Amber Josi, Electronic Payments Marketing Director, at 800-966-5520 ext. 286.
