The annual celebration was inspired by Italian street painters, who created street chalk art dating back to the 16th century. The Memorial Day weekend tradition attracts almost 5,000 residents and tourists, of all ages.

On Main Street, attendees can find street painting, a fine arts and crafts fair with local and artisan vendors including Yan Yan Liang Jewelry and Valerie Doyle beach accessories, live music and performances, the Drum Circle, arts and crafts for kids, life-sized board games on the lawn, and more.

Those in attendance will most definitely not go hungry. There will be several food trucks including Beach Treats Ice Cream and Gelato, Sticky Waffles, J&L's Chicken, Fish, & Ribs, and Crabman Crabcakes.
