If walking (or sprinting) into the Atlantic
Ocean during a brisk December morning doesn't sound like your idea of fun, but taking part in a Polar Bear Plunge is on your bucket list, join Maureen's Haven
Homeless Outreach Program during their Spring Plunge on Saturday, April 18th.
At 11:15 a.m., take the plunge at The Wharf House at Founders Landing in Southold and "freeze" for a good cause during the benefit East End plunge. Registration is $25 or $15 for a team (per member) and begins at 10 a.m.
A BBQ for Polar Bear Plungers will follow from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Admission is free for plungers, $10 in advance for adults and $5 for children (6 and below). Tickets are $15 for adults on the day of. The afternoon will include Chinese Auction Baskets, a tasty BBQ, a bounce house and other entertaining happenings.
