70s Flashback Concerts Bringing Boogie Fever To The East End

Get ready to boogie the night away when a Woodstock legend and tribute band come to the Suffolk Theater.

The flashback weekend kicks off on Friday, January 30th with Melanie Safka, who first attracted national attention when she serenaded the audience at Woodstock during the summer of '69. The legendary festival transformed a generation and changed music forever, and it was there where Safka launched her legendary career that spans more than 40 years, and includes the hit songs "Brand New Key" and "Ruby Tuesday." Tickets are $49 and the show begins at 8 p.m.

On Saturday, January 31st disco fever is coming to the East End. That 70's Band and two DJs will set the mood for a Boogie Wonderland on the dance floor. Get down to songs that ruled the Billboard Charts during the era of Studio 54 like Chic's "Le Freak," Bee Gees' "Night Fever" and Gloria Gaynor's "I Will Survive." Tickets are $30 and the show begins at 8 p.m.
