Riverhead County Fair To Feature Folk Music, Art, Local Vendors, Contests, And More

Over 450 vendors will appear at the 2014 Riverhead County Fair held in Downtown Riverhead, marking the 39th annual Columbus Day weekend that the celebration has attracted East End families to enjoy a day of food, fun and entertainment.
This year's festival will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2014, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will be a town-wide "little block party" featuring farm animals and pony rides, folk music and arts, foods and produce from various local vendors, carnival rides, garden tractor pulls, a vegetable decorating contest and agriculture, homemaking and needlecraft competitions.
The County Fair is made possible through numerous advertisers and sponsors as well as government and town officials, local merchants, the Chamber of Commerce, the Riverhead Public Library, the Boy Scouts and the Suffolk County Historical Society.
