- For the sixth year the Hamptons and the North Fork find the winter wind entwined with the lyrics of Sinatra's "Summer Wind" as Long Island Winterfest's Jazz on the Vine
fills the East End's twin forks chilly air with all that jazz!
Hamptons.com is once again a proud Media Sponsor of Winterfest's Jazz on the Vine
and this weekend we are thrilled to be the Presenting Sponsor of the Trevor Davison Orchestra
. Davison fronts a ten piece ensemble that represents the festival's largest combination of instrumentation, all world class musicians.
Supporting the lyric vocals of the extraordinary and very lovely Allyson Davison this ensemble includes tenor sax men Jeff Lederer and Karel Ruzicka (tenor player with pop/jazz songwriter Michael Franks), Andy Gravish and Marty Bound from the Dorsey Brothers Big Band on trumpets and trombonists Mike Engstrom and Rob Stringer from the Radio City Music Hall Orchestra. Of course, there is Trevor Davison himself, band leader, singer, composer and arrangner who in his career has performed for a diverse clientele including Lady Margaret Thatcher, Rudolph Guiliani, and Jr/
