North Fork-Based Gallery Calling All Artists To Submit Work For National Juried Small Photographic Works Exhibition

Alex Ferrone Gallery in Cutchogue is welcoming artists to submit their work to the Gallery's National Juried Small Photographic Works Exhibition. The theme of the Exhibition is "The Circle," which explores how the circle (or circles) plays an integral role in composition, form, design, and/or subject matter of the photographic image. Artists must submit their image with a frame no larger than 14"x14" by Monday, October 3rd.

The Circle - Small Works Juried Exhibit will feature 50 works and will open on Saturday, November 26th and run through Wednesday, February 15th. Participants will have the chance to win awards from Olympus and Berger-Bros Cameras, Duggal Visual Soltuions, Abbot Art Framing, and Abatelli Realty. The submission fee is $40 for up to three images.

The Juror, Charles A. Riley II, PhD, is an art critic, curator, professor, and author. Riley has published 31 books on art, cultural history, and media. Some of his works include The Jazz Age in France, The Saints of Modern Art, Color Codes, and, The Arts in the World Economy.

"This is an excellent opportunity for photographic artists to have their works viewed by Charles A. Riley II, a highly respected art critic, and to potentially exhibit in a beautiful Gallery that is gaining a terrific following," said Ferrone. "Participating in this exhibit will give artists a wonderful way to give to the community as well, as this is our annual benefit exhibit for our local outreach organization, CAST of Southold Town."
