"Inspired by dreams and centuries-old Japanese paintings and prints, and assembled of contemporary and old materials and processes, my photographic works become startling in their physicality and emotional depth," noted artist Robert Moore, who is featured in an upcoming exhibit at the Rosalie Dimon Gallery. "The carefully constructed photomontage images are printed on traditional Japanese plant fiber paper to which delicate layers of hot wax infusion and cold wax coatings are hand-applied. The final results convey uncanny depth, luminosity, and vibrant, gem-like color, and brings a visual experience that engages the viewer's curiosity as much as their emotions."

East End Arts is presenting the new art show at the Rosalie Dimon Gallery, at the Jamesport Manor Inn, which will also feature abstract paintings by Adam Cohen. The exhibit opens on Wednesday, February 11th and will be on view until Wednesday, April 29th. An Artists' Reception, which is open to the public, will be held on Sunday, March 1st from 3 to 5 p.m.

Robert Moore reinterpreted The Koi Dreams photographic works for the North Fork exhibit. His encaustic-infused photography combines the use of new and old materials, which he in turn, processes into something entirely original. The cautiously and precisely created photo-montage series features a remarkable radiance, complexity, and brightness through gem-like colors.

Abstract artist Adam Cohen of Roxbury, New York showcases part of his recent Tumultuous Harmonies series in this exhibition. "A painting by Adam Cohen is like a sudden burst of light," noted renowned critic and author Carter Ratcliff. "Vision is dazzled by a surface alive with color, swarming with incident. As you approach the canvas, it feels as if it were coming up to meet you, to immerse you in a field of visual energy."

Rosalie Dimon Gallery at the Jamesport Manor Inn is located at 370 Manor Lane in Jamesport. For more information, call 631-727-0900 or visit www.eastendarts.org.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didn’t change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
