Crossing 3rd by Jim Sabiston and Kites by Hector deCordova.

The Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery is contributing to the upcoming "Taste North Fork" with a "Meet the Artists," a series of one-hour Artist Talks featuring Long Island based, prominent, and award-winning fine art painters and photographers. Artists will include Hector deCordova, Charles Wildbank, Jim Sabiston, and Alex Vignoli. They will each have artwork on display at the Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery, which is the only photography Gallery on the North Fork.

Charles Wildbank starts the series on Saturday, November 9 at 11 a.m. Wildbank will discuss Photorealism and show how he prepares his photographs for use as sketches.

At 1 p.m., Hector deCordova will explain the use of photographs as references for elements of his paintings and also the value of photography to conserve transitory moments for future paintings.

Sunday, November 10 starts with Alex Vignoli at 12 p.m. He will lead another discussion at 3 p.m. The fine art photographer will reveal methods he uses for photomontage, the formation of photographic composites and the blending of two or more images to make an entirely different concept image with the utilization of specific image-editing software.

Also on Sunday, Jim Sabiston will speak at 1:30 p.m. about his process of using an iPhone to capture, edit, and process images for fine art photographs.

Alex Ferrone Photography Gallery is located at 25425 Main Road in Cutchogue. For more information call 631-734-8545 or visit www.alexferrone.com.

Hampton Luxury Liner
Hampton Luxury Liner was started in 2000 as a more luxurious way to travel from NYC to the Hamptons and back. The clientele quickly grew and over the years Hampton Luxury liner became the preferred method of transportation to the Hamptons and NYC for many living in NYC and the Hamptons that wanted a comfortable and affordable way to travel back and forth. In 2009, HLL was taken over by Classic Coach and things with the liner didnít change to much for years and the owner there changed the buses to Prevost as opposed to Mercedes Setra Top Class Coaches that have always been a signature of the liner.
