Hampton Bays Eighth Grader Takes First In National Geographic Geography Bee

Hampton Bays - Eighth grade student Evan Kelly took first place in the Hampton Bays Middle School National Geographic Geography Bee yesterday.

Southampton Town Councilwoman Nancy Graboski served as a judge in the competition that's designed to encourage the teaching and studying of geography. Kelly will next have the opportunity to qualify to compete on the state level.

Hannah Hansen was the runner-up.
